HICO-DECUBIMAT 375, the efficient alternating pressure

HICO-DECUBIMAT 375 contains a 2-chamber big cell mattress
and every single cell can be replaced. The material is
kind to the skin and pervious to air. In the case of emergency
a CPR-valve (fig. 1) provides for quick deflation of the cells.

The whole system, aggregate and mattress, is easy to operate.
The big cell mattress with 2-chamber system provides a
good surface pressure relief with the partially changing zero
pressure. For a better lying comfort the three head cells are
static.
HICO-DECUBIMAT 375 provides a transportation mode (fig.
2). This fills all cells of the mattress up to the right pressure and
thus guarantees a soft lying. After switching off the device,
the pressure in the mattress remains constant. The patient
can be transported with his bed, mattress and unit.

By microprocessor control the aggregate can be operated
intuitively without problems.
Operations
The user is informed about the state of mattress and unit from
the displays at any time.
A common bacteria filter (fig. 3) provides for a long lasting
service life. It protects the system from contamination and can
be replaced at any time. An important contribution to
operational safety and hygienics.

Indication
The HICO-DECUBIMAT 375 serves the prophylaxis of low to
moderate risk according to NORTON and the therpy of
decubitus stages 1-2 according to SEILER in the case of
bedridden patients. Furthermore the system offers a good
lying comfort for patients from 40 to 160 kgs due to its
2-chamber big cell mattress.
